Question: Installing to another Location other than C drive

Thomas V

I do not have enough space on my C Drive to install Front
Page 2002. I have alot of space on my D Drive (partition).
Microsoft Defaults it to the following:
C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft Office\ If I change to the D
drive do I use the same path D:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft
Office\ or just use D:

Just selecting D:\ "should" work.

You will need to un-install, then re-install to drive D: You can define the folder or just change C:
to D:

Note: A certain number of component will be installed in drive C, not matter what path you indicate.

Maybe time to purchase a larger HD.

You might want to consider purchasing a partition management product like
PartitionMagic from Powerquest (Symantec). With it, you can resize your C:\
partition to give you more space. Since you have a lot of available space
on D:\, this may make the most sense. Yes, you'll probably use the
application very infrequently, but it's sure handy to have in situations
like this. You can always save a few bucks by reformatting the entire
drive. :)
