Question on Setup for Project 2002 server

Hi,

I'm installing Project 2002 server with a SQL 2000 database. During setup
when I specify the database, it states that my account must be a member of
the MSProjectServerRole and MSProjectRole in SQL Server.

SQL Server has no such roles. So I created them. Still it says could not
log on, check password spelling.

Tried this several times, including re-booting.

An I missing a step in setting up the server? Any help would be
appreciated.
