question regarding food menus

dave

I am trying to create an restaurant menu and I am having problems between
the text and pricing. Can someone show me I can do this correctly?

Lets say I have the following (with errors of course, for this is the way it
comes out); How do I get the prices to line up correctly everytime.
(should be)
Beef Patty or Ham & Eggs ......... $6.99
Scrambled Eggs, Mushrooms & Onions ....... $6.99
Sausage or Bacon & Eggs .......... $6.99
Beef Patty or Ham & Eggs ......... $6.99
(actually)
Scrambled Eggs, Mushrooms & Onions ... $6.99
Sausage or Bacon & Eggs ......... $6.99
Beef Patty or Ham & Eggs ......... $6.99
Scrambled Eggs, Mushrooms & Onions ... $6.99
Sausage or Bacon & Eggs ......... $6.99
Beef Patty or Ham & Eggs ......... $6.99

Are there only certain fonts I should use?

Thank ahead for any help you guys/gals can give.

This is done by using tabs. If you have the ruler showing, click where
you want the right margin, then double click on the little angle. Set
the alignment to right and add your preferred leader. If the ruler
isn't showing, it's Format | Tabs and type in the position of your right
margin. The program will automatically add the filling dots and it
doesn't matter which font you use. Cool or what? ;>)

On a fresh page where no tabs have been added click the little square a the top left side of the page to cycle thru the different
tab types: |_ means left tab, _| means right tab, _|_ means mid tab, and _|._ means decimal tab. Decimal tab is the only one you
should be using because it lines all the decimal places in each price up perfectly vertical on your page.
Hope this helps ya.
