Question that has probably been asked 1000 times!

I have created a table to use to position items on my page. One row of this
table I would like to be navigational buttons. When I hover on these
buttons I want a drop down to appear to show links under the button. Can
this be accomplished in FrontPage and if so, how. I have the table set to
be 100% of the size of the page, so the size of the "buttons" would change
based upon the size of the browser window. IF this is not the best way,
then what would be a good approach to this.

I am sorry if this question as been asked and answered before, I am old and
my memory is not what it used to be.

Thanks in advance.

Don't make it 100%, use pixels instead. Like 800 for a width. This sets the
width regardless of screen resolution.

For your other question, I'm not sure.

I asked a question a week or so ago that didn't get answered. I was trying
to understand how to design a webpage in FrontPage that would allow me to
edit it from a remote computer. Sort of like if I had a resturant and I
wanted to change the daily specials, how would I change the website
contents without touching the code?

Assuming I had it designed by someone else and I didn't know how to edit
the code.

If you could help me with that, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

I am not sure about that one either. I do essentially the same thing with
one of the sites I do. With FrontPage you would not be affecting the code
since it is WYSIWYG it would be a matter of just changing like in a word
document. I use remote desktop to work on their computer to do these
things.

The problem I get when using pixels rather than percentages is that how they
are displayed on different devices. For instance a PDA, with percentages
they always display correctly for me. BUT thanks for responding. I
appreciated it. I will probably go a different direction anyway with this.
I am just trying to give the client different options.
Thanks again.

Michael though did write a tutorial on how to accomplish this in
Frontpage:

which might be helpful as well.

No one could help me with my question????

If not, how about another question? I designed www.dvc500.com and I'm happy
with it BUT if I do CTRL and scroll mouse (change font size), the
hyperlinks on the left go up and down.

Anything I can do to prevent it?

Thanks in advance!
