question when installing office

This may be a really simply question, but I have never installed a program at
home myself. I have purchased the Office Enterprise 2007 home use program.
Before I install it, I simply want to find out what happens to my docs on
word, excel etc. Will they be deleted when I install the new office? As I
say, its a really basic question compared to the other technical questions,
but I just want to make sure. Thanks very much

Your docs will be uneffected, but you are allways advised to have a backup,
which you should have anyway
