How do you take out page numbers? I went to header and footer and clicked the
option not to display them and they still are appearing.

There are many ways to do page numbers. The header and footers is one
option.

Have a look on the 'slide masters' for a text box with a # symbol in it.

Try deleting that.

If the numbers are on the notes / handouts, then look on the masters page
for them also.

As well as what TAJ said you might also check that you clicked ' apply to all
