Dear all,

While im setting up a project server
i have encountered a few problems:

1) If i'm using Enterprise Resource Pool now, how can i
set it up in order to let the project manager to select
ONLY his resources, but not other project managers'
resources ?

2) can i customize the fields in "Risks & Issues" in PWA ?

3) Has microsoft provided some sample formular for the
custom fields ?

4) If the project manager give me a Task on coming Monday,
after i have received the task, i define myself to be "on
vacation" on coming monday in the Administrative project,
will the project server (or project profeessional) do any
arrangement for my task ?

5) If i have defined myself to be "on vacation" on coming
monday before the project manager assign me the task, will
the project manager get any notice when he was trying to
assign me a task in project professional ?

6) Do we need to use SQL2000 Enterprise version for a
fully function Project Server (Included Portfolio
Analyzer), or SQL2000 Standard is enough ?

7)How to create a time sheet?

If the PM performs a level resources operation it should
kick in.
5) If i have defined myself to be "on vacation" on coming
monday before the project manager assign me the task, will
the project manager get any notice when he was trying to
assign me a task in project professional ?

Same.. Level resources out to do the trick. I have not
officially done this but the data on my server looks like
it should work. I have an admin project and put vacation
time in. My tasks show me as overloaded on those days. The
project file even show me as overloaded on those days. I
guess I ought to level the resources, but am more
concerned about sending out updates to everyone else as it
pushes related tasks out. I'm trying not to overwhelm my
team with messages at the moment. But will try it as other
updates push out tasks anyway.
