Have you put your date in text box or some other conteners?
To add a text box to a slide:
1.From the Insert menu, choose "Text Box".
2.Position your mouse pointer at the location where you'd like to insert the
text box. Click, hold and drag to create the text box.
3.After releasing the mouse button, you can start typing text inside the
text box.
