Questions that can't be answered!

Dave

First - that you to everyone that has helped me, your experience & knowledge
has raised my learning curve exponentially.

Where do the questions go that can't be answered?
Does Microsoft monitor this site for issues?
Do any of the MVPs forward questions to the Microsoft engineers?

Examples:

I discovered yesterday that any database field using a DATE via FP2003 &
Database Interface Wizard needs to have the code manually changed, not just
the Timestamp in MKBA 828898.

Can a web bot value field be incorporated into ASP?

I would think that someone inside Microsoft knows what can and cannot be
accomplished with it's code.

Thank you again!!!!!!!

Dave

This is a peer to peer newsgroup, with people volunteering their time. If
someone has an answer, they will provide it. However, there is no time line
to answers. People who choose to answer will choose to do so when they wish
to do so.

Some MS employees frequent the newsgroups at times.
Do any of the MVPs forward questions to the Microsoft engineers?

We sometimes ask questions of MS employees in our private newsgroups or
offline. Sometimes issues are discussed among ourselves to try to resolve
issues.

Some questions can't be answered, not because nobody knows the answer, but
because nobody understands the question.

If you can explain what you mean by "Can a web bot value field be
incorported into ASP?" I think someone can answer it. But you need to define
the terms you've used.

Dave: The bottom line is to be patient. It sometimes takes a while for the
right person to come along that has the answer you're looking for. Could be
immediate, could be hours, could be days. ;-)

I just posted

Can a Confimration Field Value be used is asp coding?

Maybe this will explain. I am prbably becoming a pest with this.

Dave,

I don't think anyone is going to accuse you of hogging bandwidth with a good
explanation of your problem. More than one sentence is allowable. You need
to define your terms. You didn't explain your question. You rephrased it.
Let me try to be more illustrative:

Original Question:
Rephrased:
Can a Confimration Field Value be used is asp coding?

Define "Confirmation Field Value"
Define "be used"
Define "asp coding"
