hi
right click any tool bar. from the popup, select customize. when the
customize box comes up, click the icon you wish to have text. on the
customize box click modify selection. from the popup, select name and give it
the text you wish to display.
click modify selection again....
1. click text only(always) - displays text only - no icon, menus and tool
bars.
2. click text only(menus) - displays text in menus, icon on toolbar.
3. click image and text - displays text and icon in menus and toolbars.

I don't think this works for the Quick Access Toolbar (in Excel 2007)

Hi Julian,

There is no way to do this in 2007, to the best of my knowledge. This is
just one of the limits on the QAT. It also appears that you can't Edit a
button image, you can't Copy a button image. You can't assign a hyperlink
although you can create code to call a hyperlink. You can't have more than
one custom toolbar - the QAT. You can't float the QAT. You can't reshape
the QAT - that is show open with multiple rows.

Cheers,
Shane Devenshire
