Quick Desktop/Laptop Question.

I would like to be able to work on my local web with my laptop and
desktop computer. The actual local web exists on the laptop hard drive
with FP2003. Can I work on the same laptop hard drive networked through
my desktop application of FP2003?

In essence, I will be working on the same local web with 2 different
computers accessing the same files.

Will this work?

Absolutely. As long as your laptop is a mapped drive on your desktop, you
can open FrontPage and access that folder to edit your site on your desktop
with no problems. I do it all the time (albeit the other way around).

The majority of recommendations on this newsgroup, however, is to open your
site "live" on your host's server to do your work, but you can work locally
and publish after.

Thanks Dan... When I searched before my original post, that is indeed
what most people recommended, the "live" method.. However, I like "our"
method better.

Cheers! Kevin
