Quick Fix

I have a word Document with about a million (Exaggerated!) screen shots of an
application in it. Pasted from a PrintKey capture. Each shot had a small
area in it that had a red foreground text message on a grey background that
was on top of a blue area. I need to cover this up with some blue, on all
the screen shots. I don't want to re-capture all the screen shots.

I tried copying a small area of the blue and pasting it in and overlaying it
on top of the area. This is really hard, as when I crop the pasted blue area
to adjust for the different sizes, it "snaps" to some sort of an alignment
and will not cover the desired area exactly. I have set the format of the
layout of the pasted graphic to be in front of the text, but it still snaps.
I have tried adjusting the font size to a small size to facilitate, but still
cannot get the adjustment I need. It would be nice if the pasted graphic
didn't "snap".

Any suggestions?

You can turn off the grid (on the Drawing toolbar, Draw | Grid) or override
it by pressing Alt while dragging.
