Quick Launch Toolbar Office 2000

For years my Quick Launch toolbar has ALWAYS been directly to the right of my
start button on the taskbar. But when I logged on a couple days ago it was
located at the right side of the taskbar (next to the clock). I realize this
is not a major deal - at least I still have it. But it irritates me to no
end that I can't get it back to it's original location. Any suggestions??

Quick Launch toolbar is set by the Operating system. R-click the
taskbar, unlock it, and then move the QL toolbar.

My current PC running Windows 2000 v5.0 SP4 which unfortunately doesn't offer
an option to "unlock" the bar (though I've used it on other systems). I did
nothing to change my display from the time I left work Friday pm to the time
I logged in Monday am... It just boggles my mind that I can't get it back to
it's previous setting.

Thanks for the tip though.

You may have to do this more than once before it finally takes, or even
pull it off the Task Bar and back on again. Close all windows before you
try this so there's nothing on the Task Bar to get in the way.

Place your mouse pointer on the left edge of the Quick Launch bar and
watch for the sizing pointer. Then click and hold and drag to the
left.
