Quick Parts disappear from Outlook 2007 after you set them up.

Quick Parts disappear from Outlook 2007.

We added Quick Parts and then went back to use them and they were not there
to use! We probably rebooted in the meantime, but I know they were there as i
went back and tested them. Quick Parts are saved in the NormalEmail.dotm
file. The file is on my machine.

I have heard that this is an MS Office issue that can be fixed with a
Service Pack. Is this true? If so, which service pack do we need to install.

Also, is there a workaround to fix it in the mean time? We are using Office
2007 with XP Pro. I cannot find anyting on this issue and need confirmation

Apply Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 if you haven't done so already.

As for the normalemail.dotm;
Does its modified date indicate that the QuickParts should be in there?

Try it a second time; your first attempt might have failed because of
another issue that was present at your machine at that time.
