Quick question on powerpoint macros

Hi I have 2 macro questions:

1. How do I associate a keyboard shortcut with a macro in
ppt

2. How do I make a macro available in any ppt file I open
(similar to saving a macro in personal.xls in excel)?

You cannot do this natively. Unlike Excel, PowerPoint does not support
keyboard shortcuts for macros.

2. How do I make a macro available in any ppt file I open

You need to create an add-in. Take a look at the PowerPoint add-in FAQ -
