When exporting a report to Excel from Quickbooks Pro 2005 for Mac, Excel hangs and doesn't respond. Does Excel 2008 no longer support SYLK? Any ideas?

XL08 still supports SYmbolic LinK (.slk) format.

I have Excel 2008 and QuickBooks Pro 2007. Once I loaded the new Excel, I no longer can export from QuickBooks.

Why would inability to *export* be the *import* application's fault?

I'm having the same problem. Exports from Quickbooks Pro 2005 cause Excel 2008 to freeze and I have to Force Quit to get Excel back up again.
I had no such issues with Excel 2004...
