Quicker access to "More Views.." selections?

Pat

I find myself going into the View>More Views... menu a lot to access certain
views (e.g. Task Sheet). Is there any way to move selections from the "More
Views..." menu to either the main View menu or (better yet) a tool bar for
quicker view changes? That would be a great convenience, if so.

Thanks for any help.

Pat,
Jan provided one approach. Let me tell you what I do. I customized my
Formatting menu to show not only the selection box for views but also
for view tables and filters since those three elements make up a view.
To make room for those on the toolbar I deleted some items that I seldom
if ever use like the font size and type.

To customize the Format (or any other) toolbar use the following
procedure.
1. Right click on a blank area of the toolbars.
2. Select "Customize" at the bottom of the list
3. With the Customize window open, select and drag any existing toolbar
buttons away from the toolbar to remove them.
4. To add buttons, find and drag and drop the appropriate "command" up
to the toolbar. For reference, the View and Table selection boxes are
listed under "View" category and the Filters selection box is listed
under the "Project" category.

This new toolbar configuration will be saved in your global and will
therefore be available for all your Project files.

Hope this helps.

To add a tool bar of views: View>View Bar
For the view to be visable in the tool bae you'll need to follow Jan's
suggestion first.

I have a different approach again! I always collapse the View bar down the
left hand side to save on screen real estate. However, if you right click
the thin bar down the left hand side you get a list of all views in the View
menu.

Another way again is Alt+V to display the view menu then the underlined
letter in the menu. So, Alt+VG displays the Gantt Chart.

Thanks to everyone who replied, and I especially liked hearing the different
approaches some of you take (John and Rob). There's a lot more flexibility
in how things are displayed than I thought, so I'll probably experiment with
this some (now that I know how) and see what I like best.

Thanks again, -Pat

Pat,
You're welcome.
