Quickly Changing From One Shape To Another In Visio 2003

I have a WBS diagram that was created through the COM plugin in
Project 2003. The WBS is essentially a task hierarchy. I want to
convert it into a workflow diagram using the standard Flowchart
shapes.

I read an older post that talked about modifying the stencil shapes.
However, 1) I wouldn't want to do that and 2) there is no stencil
since the drawing was generated by Project.

I am looking for something like dragging a new shape onto the old
shape and having the change take effect. Reason? All of the shapes
have text that would be a pain to replace.

This seems to be a common problem.
