Quicktime movies in PPT 2000

Does anyone know how I can embed and run quicktime v.4 .mov files in
powerpoint 2000. I've tried inserting them as an object but my computer
crashes when I try to play them.

Hello Steve,you can try like this,
1. embed your quicktime .mov file in a web page
for example: <embed src="sample.mov" width="320" height="256"></embed>

2. insert the web page into powerpoint
