radio buttons missing

We work with both Outlook 2001 and Outlook 98 on a Mac OS 9.2. I've
noticed that in the Outlook Preferences, only the round buttons are
visible which are not selected. The one that are selected and should
have a circle with a black dot inside it in front of the text, are not
visible. And when I select another circle I briefly see the circle
with the dot inside in front of the text, but it quickly disappears.
Leaving just the empty round buttons of the options which aren't
selected. Who knows the cause and the sollution?

I think this is simply a display problem with Microsoft apps.
I've noticed the radio buttons disappearing too, but it doesn't
seem to affect the settings.

First of all, make sure you are running the most recent version of
Outlook 2001 (version 9.0)

If those check out, I would trash all Outlook components and
reinstall clean.
