I would suggest you ask in a newsgroup supporting "onecare", a program
with which I am not familiar. This newsgroup is for a different
program, the Office Pro database software Microsoft Access.

Memory is quite cheap these days, and 16 meg is *very* small for
today's software. Your friendly local computer repair shop will surely
help, or you can buy new memory chips from one of the many online
hardware websites (check reviews) and install it yourself.

Hi George,

16 MB of RAM was considered a large amount in 1993, but it's really starving
a PC in 2005. The small amount of memory that you indicate has me wondering
if your PC is fairly old. If so, the best way to upgrade is to visit a PC
retailer and purchase a new system. Transfer any data that you wish to keep
from the old PC, and then convert it into a boat anchor. If the PC is as old
as it sounds, it would be cost prohibitive to upgrade all the necessary
components to achieve reasonable speeds for today's software and operating
systems.

This newsgroup is for questions and answers related to Microsoft Access, the
database software.
