rampant overdue notices

Whenever I now start up Outlook, in about 30 seconds the screen gets filled with overdue notices. How to stop???????

you can try double clicking on each reminder and when it
opens, delete it. if after doing that to each message,
you still have some, you can use the MDBVU32.exe tool on
the exchange cd to delete the reminders.
