Umm why would you run scanpst just because Outlook "crashed"? Do you have a
backup?

You've probably buggered up your pst file. I repeat - do you have a backup?

That's anyone's guess. In a crash, files don't get closed properly and for
database files like a PST, that can be a fatal condition.
