Random lines when printing pdf files with graphics included

T

Tim Bush

We create docs in Word 2002 (XP Office Suite), insert graphics, and then convert the files to Abobe .pdf prior to printing. When looking at the graphics in Word or Adobe, the pictures look fine, with no lines around them. Once we print the .pdf files however, random vertical and/or horizontal lines will appear around some graphics, but not all. Our customer is unwilling to accept the random lines in the final product, but we have found no way of preventing the lines from showing up

This problem only began when we moved from Word 2000 to the XP Office Suite

Thank you for your help

I am having the same problem with Office 2003. We had
Office 2000. The TIF graphic inserted in the Word
Document has lines going through it when printed on a
post-script printer only. All other cases the lines do
not appear.

If you received an answer on this, email me at
(e-mail address removed) and let me know what it was.
