I know that in Office 07, I can generate a column with a specified ammount of random numbers with a specified distribution, specified mean, and a specified standard deviation.

How do I do this in Office 08?

Random -

Windows Excel 2007 has the Random Number Generation tool of the Analysis
ToolPak. Mac Excel 2008 does not.

If you need random numbers from a specific probability distribution, someone
may be able to describe a way to obtain them using functions that are
included in Mac Excel 2008.

For example, you can obtain random numbers from a normal distribution using
=NORMINV(RAND(),mean,stdev)
