Random Number Generator

I am using the Excel Random Number Generator in a Monte Carlo simulation.
When I open a separate very large file and do a copy/paste from the Monte
Carlo into the separate file, the random number generator seems to have a
distinct upward bias (from the time of the copy/paste until the very large
file is closed).

Anyone with insight into the cause and/or solutions would be very much
appreciated.

Which version of Excel?

Which random number generator? (RAND, Analysis ToolPak, or VBA RND)

Describe how someone could replicate your steps.

Describe how you are measuring "distinct upward bias."
