random typing

Last week after using my word program for over a year, I
was typing in a document when all of a sudden the program
started typing on its own and reformatting. Most of it
was jibberish but there were random words that seem to
have been taken out of other word docs I've saved over
the year. It also started typing randomly in a box on a
form I was filling out on line as well. Any ideas

Its is possible that you might have some stuck keys on your keyboard. To
prevent losing any content or formatting in the document, close the document
without saving. Check the keyboard.

Hi Jack

If you have voice recognition enabled -- even if you don't have a microphone
plugged in -- Word may be picking up random bits and trying to interpret
them. See if disabling voice recognition gets rid of the problem.
