Re-activing a cancelled recurrent meeting

Dear,

I have a cancelled meeting in my outlook calendar. The "meeting request"
still exists in the calendar but with status CANCELLED.

I would like to change the status, and make this recurrent meeting active
once again, and send out an update to the participants.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in anticipation.

(Of course i can always create a new recurrent meeting but I was curious -
and hence the question).
