Re-adding a user

If a user gets deleted from the Enterprize Resource Pool, can the user be
re-added to the ERP (using all the same authentication criteria) without
affecting hours posted or project assignments?

Please advise.

Thanks!

No. They will get a new unique ID and so will lose all connection with the
old data. Instead of deleting resources from the Pool, use the admin feature
to disable them. If you then need to re-instate them clearing the disable
option should restore them to life!!

Thanks Rod... The reason I asked the question is that we have a person
who's network ID was recreated.

Now this user cannot access any Sharepoint Features (Documents and Issues)
for projects that were in place prior to the recreation of the ID. They have
no problem with new projects (ones that were published after the ID was
created). My thought was to delete and then readd the user to the ERP.
We've tried everything else....

By the way - are you from Michigan? (I know a Rod Gill from Michigan).

Thanks.... guess you are right about that!!! New Zealand is kind of a hike
from Michigan!!!

I did fix this issue. Apparently your suggestion worked (thanks)! When the
network ID was recreated - I needed to "disable" the user - and then
immediately "re-instate" them. That process seemed to have synch'd the user
back to being able to see everything that she needed to see.

Thanks again for you help Rod!
