Re-assign project manager

I apologize if this is a stupid question - but if I publish a plan from
project professional to project server, it assumes that I am the project
manager. Is there any way to change this assignment (I'm thinking of the
overall coordination for this project rather than specific tasks).

Thank you.

You can go into the web access and view projects in the
Project Center. Select the project then click edit project
details. You can change the owner name on that screen. The
project manager's name should also be in the properties
field of the actual project.

Brenda --

The steps that you have detailed will change the Owner of the project, but
it will not change the Manager of the project. The Manager of the project
is the person to whom task updates are sent from team members in the
project. To change the Manager of the project, the new project manager
needs to do the following:

1. Open the project in question
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
3. Select the "Become the manager for these assignments" option
4. Click OK

Hope this clarification helps.

OR you can do the following:

In Project Server, the "Manager" of a project is the
person who initially publishes the project to PWA. To
change the Manager of each project, ask the new project
manager(s) to do the following:

1. Open the first project
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
3. Select the "Become the manager for these assignments"
option
4. Click the OK button
5. Repeat the process for each project in which the task
updates are going to new owner.

Completing this process for each project will redirect
task updates to the correct project manager.
