Re-editing a created calendar

Erol

Hi All,

I created a calendar begining of 2009 which shows the holidays of our
company. Now we entered 2010 and the new holidays are published. I want to
update the calendar I created for my company, so I can use this global
template calendar which I have been using in all of our projects.

Please let me know how this can be done.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Erol,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

From your project, Tools/Organizer/Calendars tab. Copy your company's calendar into the project. Now Tools/Change Working Time, select the Company's calendar and make the changes you want. Then reverse the process via the Organizer, copying it to the Global.mpt.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Hi Erol,

Create a new project based upon your company template. Change the
working time. Save the template AS a template withe the same name and
over write the existing file.

The other option is to alter the calendar in an existing file and them
copy the new calendar to the global.mpt file of each user, replacing the
existing calendar with the same name.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
