have any suggestions regarding Director. Hopefully

You might try the Shockwave Active X Control instead of the Shockwave Flash
Active X control. Not sure it will work, though, as you're dealing with an
EXE, not
whatever-file-extension-it-is-that-Director-exports-that-I-can't-remember-ri
ght-now. For instance, http://www.flashgeek.com has instructions for how to
insert Flash SWF files into PPT. You'd use similar steps for a Director
file.

With the EXE, though, you might try an action setting instead. Right-click
an object in your PPT file and choose Action Settings. In the Run Program
option, use the Browse button to navigate to the EXE file.
