Re-order Shapes collection

Is there a way to re-order the Shapes collection via the Visio COM interface
and permanently save the changes? (I'm using VB6.) A 2nd app would
process the Visio file later and use the re-ordered collection.

I could add a custom property 'Sequence Number' to each shape and re-order
at runtime but this would be impractial due to the number of shapes used.

The only way to re-order shapes is to delete and drop again.
You can select shapes in any rder you like, if you just want an ordered
selection collection.
