Re-re-re-re-re-registering trial version (v3)

T

Tim Ellis

Despite having done so twice already, each and every time I load up Groove v3
(I'm in the 60 day trial period) I am being asked to reconfirm that I wish to
continue with the trial... That's fine in itself, but when I click on "yes to
continue trial" I am taken automatically to a web page asking me to register
my full details for the trial. As I said, I have already done so twice - but
this little bug or oversight is very annoying and smacks of a product being
poorly supported... Then, to add 'insult to injury" there is no way on earth
I can find an email address at Groove to report this issue. I have tried
using the "report a bug" facility but, to my amazement it concludes with a
message "Thank you for your submission. Please note that we cannot respond
to individual reports, but your input is critical to our ongoing efforts to
improve the product.". I can promise you that by closing off potential
dialogue you are closing off a potential customer. Bad marketing. Bad image.
Pity..... Now, how about proving me wrong ? Show you listen and show that you
care enough to act at an individual level. Thanks in advance.

It's OK and normal. Apparently Ozzie left Groove and now has much bigger problems to tackle.

The integration of Groove into Microsoft has been left to people with no power to handle real issues ? Or maybe they don't care.
