Re-registering Office:mac v.X ??

R

Robert Simmons

I want to take Office:mac v.X off my computer and sell the software to a
friend. Is there some way he can re-register it in his name?

I'm assuming the Product Key, which I used to register it the first time, will
prevent him from doing it, unless I fill out a form or something.

Any help will be appreciated!

TIA,

Robert

No form necessary - s/he can register it if s/he choses. Or not.

Unlike WinOffice, MacOffice has no activation "feature" - MacOffice
doesn't phone home to Redmond to get permission to work. All
registration does is allow you to sign up for a electronic newsletter
(and give MS some marketing data).

Note that your license allows only one transfer, so legally, your buyer
can't resell it. However, I'm not aware of any way that that provision
can be detected, much less enforced.
