"READ" mails still visable in Search Folder

Hi,
I have a Search Folder set up to display all the unread e-
mails in my "Personal Folders" and all sub-folders. When
I use that Search Folder to read my new mail, the "READ"
e-mails remain visible in that folder. Shouldn't they
disappear after they become "READ"?
