Read Only Access

Before upgrading to MSOffice 2007 I used to be able to amend files on my
computer from the others on the network once signed on using my user name.
Now I can only open files read only. How do I get full access back? We're
using Windows XP Pro. Any help much appreciated.

Is there any issue with editing locally saved documents? If there is no
problems with local documents, but only network documents, then the
issue is with the network and permissions.

Local documents are fine. I suspect that you are right and it's to do with
the network permissions but they worked fine before the change to MSOffice
2007 so what needs to be changed now?

We have no problems on an Active Directory network, maybe review what
you run on?
