Read-only database

Jack

Hello everyone,
I have set up a DSN for the database, ought to be no read-only attributes
set.
On the other hand, when I tried to open the database with Access XP, it said
the database was read-only and I couldn't modify it. I checked the file
attribute, it was also not read-only. What other reasons can it be for
read-only database while it doesn't seem to be?
Thanks
Jack

If there aren't modify, read, write, and delete permissions on the folder
that houses the database, you will only be able to run a single user. All
other users will be read-only. All permissions, with the exception of Full
Control are required.
