Read Only Folder

I would like to create a 'Read Only Folder' or
a 'Password Protected Folder' in which I can add
spreadsheets to without having to individually protect
each spreadsheet.

This is a function of Windows OS(or whatever OS you are running under), not
Excel.

For Windows, see Start>Help "permissions"(no quotes).
