Read only from the desktop app?

Does anyone know whether you can set permissions to allow PMs to view other PMs projects, but only in read-only mode? It seems like it's sort "all-or-nothing"--you can either let them see only their own projects, or they can see all projects with full read/write capability on all of them..

To set Read-Only permissions for project managers to view one another's
projects while maintaining Read/Write access to their own projects, do the
following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin - Manage users and groups - Groups
3. Select the Project Managers group and click the Modify Group button
4. Make sure the My Organization category is in the Selected categories
list; if not, add it
5. Select the My Organization category from the Selected categories list
6. Set the Open Project option to Allow
7. Click the Save Changes button

In this scenario, there can be only one owner of a project. If you wish to
override this security setting for the two or three PM's, you would need to
create a new custom Category that would give Read/Write access to the
project(s) to which they need access, and then add the Category to the user
accounts of each of the two or three PM's. Please note, however, that when
you begin fiddling with individual user accounts, the amount of work you
will have to do to maintain the system will increase proportionately (and
perhaps exponentially!). Hope this helps.

Thank you. Do you know whether, under this scenario, there can multiple

owners of one project, so that 2 or 3 PMs can edit a project, but noone else
can?
