Read-only InfoPath Form

Is there a way I can dynamically make an InfoPath form read-only except
for single button (or maybe just a section of the form read-only)? I
want to press a button on the form that makes the form editable. I can
do this field by field, but it would be easier to make the entire page
or only a section display/read only.

Thanks.

This has been hot feature request -- but alas, the best way to do the entire form is to create a separete "read-only view", and then switch to it as appropriate.

Greg,

I can't seem to find the readonly button in the View properties. I am
using InfoPath 2003 SP2. Here is what I see...

General: view name, set as default view, show on the view menu when
filling out the form, background color, use a background picture, use a
custom layout width for this form.

Text Settings: applay settings to, font, font size, font color

Print Settings: select an existing view..., orientation, headers and
footers, copies, print range

Page Setup: printer, paper (size, source), margins

Thanks,

Chip

Yes, what I was referring to was creating a view that had all controls set to be readonly... its a lot of work compared to what IP07 offers, but its what often needs to be done for IP03 forms.
