read only Permissions Problem

Hi,

If two project managers is in the category and projects of both managers are
in the category which they can view

but as an administrator I want only the projects of first project manager is
read only for second project manager in the project professional

and if other one want to open the project of first project manager in
project professional he can open in read only mode he cant open open project
in read/write
mode .

Result : manager want to open the projects of other manager in project
professional in read only mode . he cant be allowed to modify.

Basim --

Assuming you have not made changes to any of the default permissions in
either the Project Managers group or the My Projects and My Organization
categories, here's how to do it:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin - Manage users and groups

3. Click the Groups link in the sidepane

4. Select the Project Managers group and click the Modify Group button

5. Select the My Organization category from the Selected categories list

6. In the Permissions grid, set the Open Project option to Allow

7. Click the Save Changes button



After you perform the above steps, each project manager will be able to open
his/her own projects Read/Write, but will only be able to open the projects
of other managers Read-Only. Hope this helps.
