Read Receipt in Project?

When a task is assigned in Project, is there a way for the user
assigned the task to acknowledge they are aware they were assigned
that task? Like with Microsoft Outlook, you can use a read receipt to
acknowledge an e-mail was received.

Steve,

There isn't a way to configure this in Project Server. Even using the
Outlook interface would not be helpful, since the rule would be
triggered for everything that Project Server sent out since it uses
the same email from address and the same subject line.

This would have to be either a customization or, as Dale would say,
make it a training and performance thing.
