Read Receipt Problems

I am running Outlook 2003 on an XP platform. Even though
I have all of the Tracking options within Outlook set so
that an auto read receipt is sent when requested, it will
not send out a response. I have also verified the Outlook
2003 setting with my laptop computer that has Outlook
2002/XP installed. Everything within the tracking options
is identical.

Any ideas?
