Read Receipt

I have an employee who sent a message to another employee
back in August and he is still receiving new read
receipts every 10 minutes from that e-mail message. We
have disabled read recepits in both accounts, and deleted
the e-mail. But he still recevies about 360 read
receipts everyday from this message. Does anyone have
any suggestions?
