Read Receipt

I am running Outlook 2003 on an XP platform. Even though
I have all of the Tracking options within Outlook set so
that an auto read receipt SHOULD be sent when requested,
it will not send out a response.

I have also verified the Outlook 2003 setting with my
laptop computer that has Outlook 2002/XP installed.
Everything within the tracking options are identical.

Any ideas?

What sort of mail account do you have? Also, is the symptom that Outlook is
not *sending* the receipt (if so, how do you know that?), or that the
reciept is not being received? Some mail servers can be configured in ways
that prevent receipts from being sent through them.
