Read receipt

When I "request a read receipt for this message" does this option only work
with M/S Outlook? or can it work with other mail softwares?

It depends on the other mail programs, which you did not specify. Remember
as well, recipients may have the option to decline sending a RR, which is my
default action.

*Requesting* a read receipt when you send an e-mail adds a header to
your outbound e-mail. It is up to the recipient's mail program and
how the user has configured their mail program as to if it recognizes
