Reading a Product Installation Key

I recently bought a Microsoft Office Home Use CD Pack through work. For the
life of me I can't install as it is giving me an "invalid product key"
message. Now the product key is printed right on the back so it must be that
I'm "interpreting" the key incorrectly. Is there a translation key out there?

Hint: these characters/numbers do not occur in product keys:
A E I L N O(Oscar) S U Z 0(zero) 1 5

IOW: "Each character is one of the following 24 letters and digits:
B C D F G H J K M P Q R T V W X Y 2 3 4 6 7 8 9
