Reading and replying to messages using stationery

I am using Outlook 2000. When I get an email from a sender that uses
stationery, it often times comes to me in yellow font regardless of the
stationery design.

When I send original messages, I'm often told that they are received in
yellow font, although I do not have any stationery selected and my settings
indicate to send everything in auto color font.

It sounds like these are problems tied in with the stationery feature? Are
these problems all dependent on settings the recipient has selected?

Thanks in advance for any help.
