Reading Custom Properties from another template

Hi,

I'm stuck and unsure how to do this. I have a template on my local C drive,
which needs to retrieve a custom property called 'Version', from a template
(test.dot) in my workgroup templates location. Does anyone have any ideas,
how I could do this.
